Exploring Global Business | 第一期：Culture Connect

“The aim of the event was to help students practice English and learn about different cultures. Students discussed topics such as greetings, respect, food, festivals, and communication styles in China and other countries like Pakistan, the USA, and Japan.

Students learned that greetings and gestures have different meanings around the world. For example, a thumbs-up means “good” in many countries but can be rude in some places. They also shared how people show respect, enjoy traditional foods, and celebrate festivals in different cultures.

Everyone joined games, shared ideas, and acted out gestures to guess their meanings. The event helped students improve their English, make new friends, and understand cultural differences better. It was a happy and successful learning experience for all.”
