I. Recruitment Requirements

8.Be capable of integrated application, with a solid academic foundation and independent scientific research capabilities.

9.Have a strong sense of responsibility, career ambition, and innovation; and have a clear intention for stable development.

10.Hold a master's degree or above, major in English-related fields, and be a native speaker of English (from English-speaking countries), with age not exceeding 45 years old.

11.Have at least three years of experience in English teaching at colleges or universities; possess a basic foundation in Chinese communication; and PhD holders will be given priority.

II. Job Responsibilities

Undertake work related to talent cultivation, English teaching, and scientific research.

III. Application Procedure

1.Resume Submission: Compress the application materials, name the file as "Name - English Foreign Teacher - Graduation University - Major - Educational Background", and send it to the email address: hr@xit.edu.cn.

The application materials (attachments must be complete) include but are not limited to:

(1) Application Form for Xiamen Institute of Technology (Teaching Position) (available for download) or personal resume;

(2) Passport;

(3) Professional and technical position certificate or professional (practicing) qualification certificate;

(4) All academic certificates and degree certificates from undergraduate studies onwards (returned overseas students must provide the academic certification document issued by the Ministry of Education) and the "Electronic Registration and Record Form of Academic Qualification of the Ministry of Education" from the China Higher Education Student Information Network (CHSI);

(5) List of achievements and representative works in talent cultivation, teaching, and scientific research in the past five years;

(6) Honorary certificates and other materials that can prove compliance with the recruitment requirements.

The above materials should be organized into a single folder in order; applicants shall be responsible for the authenticity of all materials. Any applicant who fills in false or incomplete information, or whose materials do not meet the requirements of the recruited position, will have their assessment or employment qualification cancelled.

  1. Assessment and Interview: According to the application situation of the position and communication between both parties, the university will organize assessment and interviews in batches, including the preliminary interview (on-site or online) - second interview (on-site or online) - final interview (on-site); specific arrangements will be notified separately.

  2. Qualification Review: The Human Resources Department will verify the authenticity of the original and copied versions of the candidates' various certificates, application forms, work performance, scientific research achievements, etc.; check the candidates' resumes and backgrounds; inquire about the teachers' access qualification, credit records, and no-criminal records; evaluate the professional tendency of educational workers, etc.; all procedures shall be carried out in accordance with specific notifications.

  3. Application Deadline: December 31, 2025; recruitment will be closed once the positions are filled.

  4. Notice on Breach of Contract: In accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code of the People's Republic of China and the Labor Contract Law of the People's Republic of China, if you sign, reply to confirm, or accept the employment offer letter, it shall be deemed that you and the university have reached a preliminary contract for the establishment of an employment relationship, which has legal binding force. Both parties shall fulfill the contract in good faith, and either party that violates the agreement shall bear corresponding legal responsibilities. If you explicitly state that you will give up the job, or indicate your intention to give up the job through your actions, or refuse to report for work, it shall constitute a breach of contract. If your breach of contract causes the university to incur recruitment costs and losses due to vacant positions, you agree to bear a liquidated damages equivalent to one month's basic monthly salary.

V. Other Matters

1.The salary and benefits shall be implemented in accordance with the university's salary system. The pre-tax comprehensive annual salary ranges from 130,000 to 200,000 yuan (including the five social insurance and one housing fund contributed by the employer), and the specific salary grade shall be determined based on the candidate's competence and performance.

2.The university implements a full-staff contract system, and the personnel relationship and files shall be attached to Xiamen Talent Service Center.

3.Candidates may rent well-equipped teacher apartments provided by the university, and their children may enjoy preferential education policies at the affiliated schools of Xiamen Institute of Technology.
