厦门工学院商学院现有国际经济与贸易、财务管理、市场营销、投资学、跨境电子商务、信息管理与信息系统六个专业,在校学生（含专升本）三千余名。
学院自有教师近百名，专职教师中具有教授职称者9人，副教授职称17人，具有博士学位者12人，其他专职教师全部具有硕士学位或研究生以上学历，是一支毕业于海内外各名校、学缘分布广泛、年龄结构较为合理的教师队伍。
学院根据经济社会发展的需要，按照我校“三位一体”办学定位，突出应用型、地方性的特色，依据国家有关经济管理专业的培养要求和标准，积极探索适应地方经济发展和我校学生特点的教学改革，创新教育教学理念、改革教学模式和方式、改进教学方法、更新教学内容，在教学团队建设、课程与教学资源建设、教学方式改革、教学管理改革等方面做了许多研究和探索，通过实施案例教学、实验教学、翻转课堂、双语教学等多种教学方式，提高教学质量和水平，培养学生的创新意识和实践能力。
通过不断努力和探索，取得了一系列教改和科研成果。其中，“国际经济与贸易”、“财务管理”两个专业获批福建省一流专业；《国际商务礼仪训练》获批福建省一流课程；《经管类专业多元融合建设案例》入选福建省新文科教育优秀案例；主持省部级教改、产学研合作等教学建设项目20余项；指导学生参加国家级、省级等各类比赛获奖80余项。科研方面，学院教师共主持省部级、市厅级项目50项；横向科研项目到款九百多万；主编和参编教材、专著50余部；发表学术论文近300篇，其中SCI、EI、中文核心期刊70余篇；授权专利、计算机软件著作权等20余项。
学院建有经济管理实验实训基地，包括企业经营模拟实验室、财务会计综合实训室、商务综合实训室、综合业务仿真实训室、跨专业综合实训室、金融财务实训室、业财融合智能财务实训室等，总占地面积约800平方米。实验室根据专业课程需求，配备了先进的实验设备和教学软件，较好地实现了仿真化、集成化以及多功能化。此外，学院与三十多家知名企业建立了校企合作关系，积极组织学生到企业参观和实习，鼓励学生参加各类学科竞赛和创新创业项目并屡创佳绩，较好地培养了学生的实践和创新能力。
商学院秉承学校“明志、博学、修身、力行”的校训，在“百年名校、百年树人”目标的指引下，按照博雅教育培养模式，加快学科建设进程，不断提升教学质量和水平，创新品质教育，着力培养服务海西建设，服务行业发展的应用型经济管理类人才，努力朝着建设具有商学特色、较高水平学院的宏伟目标迈进。
Introduction to Business School at XIT
XIT Business School has 6 of the majors : International Economics and Trade, Financial Management, Marketing, Investment, Cross-border e-commerce, Information Management and information system, with more than 3,000 students (including higher education).
XIT Business School has a dynamic excellent standard teaching team with academic and practice experience in various fields. There are about 100 teachers including 26 Vice-senior title above, 12 members of the faculty have doctorates. Other full-time teachers all have master's degree. They are a team of teachers who graduated from famous universities at home and abroad, with wide distribution of educational background and reasonable age structure.
According to the needs of economic and social development, in accordance with the "trinity" school-running orientation of our school, highlighting the application-oriented and local characteristics, and in accordance with the training requirements and standards of economic management majors of the state, the school actively explores the teaching reform that adapts to the local economic development and the characteristics of our students. By innovating education and teaching concepts, reforming teaching modes and methods, improving teaching methods and updating teaching contents, we have done a lot of research and exploration in teaching team construction, curriculum and teaching resources construction, teaching mode reform, teaching management reform, etc. By implementing various teaching methods such as case teaching, experiment teaching, flipped classroom and bilingual teaching, we have improved teaching quality and level. Cultivate students' innovative consciousness and practical ability.
Through continuous efforts and exploration, a series of educational reform and scientific research achievements have been achieved. Among them, the two majors of “International Economy and Trade” and “Financial management” were approved as first-class majors in Fujian Province; “International Business Etiquette Training” was approved as a first-class course in Fujian Province; “Multi-integration Construction Case of Economic and Management Majors” was selected as an excellent case of “new liberal arts education” in Fujian Province; Presided over more than 20 teaching construction projects such as provincial and ministerial education reform and industry-university-research cooperation; Guided students to participate in national, provincial and other various competitions and won more than 80 awards. In terms of scientific research, the faculty has presided over 50 projects at the provincial and ministerial levels and city departments. High quality and innovative design of laboratory facilities are provided in Business School. Construct an economic management experiment bases taking an area of 800 square meters, including the enterprise management simulation workshop, the financial and accounting comprehensive training rooms, Business Training Room,IntServ Simulation Training Room,Transdisciplinary Training Room,Financial Training Room，Industry and financial integration intelligent financial training room.All the training room and the laboratories are equipped with advanced experimental equipments and teaching softwares , timely updated according to the current commercial environment Furthermore, the Business School has established the university-enterprise cooperation relationships with more than 30 enterprises to offer opportunities for students to cultivate their practice and innovation ability by visiting and working in those enterprises.
Adhering to XIT motto of ‘Aspiration, Erudition, Cultivation, Practice’ and its Liberal Arts Education mode, the Business School has been accelerating the process of discipline construction and enhancing teaching quality continuously. Our goal of XIT Business School is to cultivate economics and management talents to the economic development on the Western Coast of the Taiwan Strait.
